Jcscan2connect Scan Alerts — a transactional notification program operated by Jcscan2connect, a sole proprietorship registered at 2220 Fraser St, Aurora, CO 80014, United States.
2. Program description
Jcscan2connect sends SMS notifications to contacts registered on a Jcscan2connect QR sticker. Contacts receive an alert when someone physically scans the account holder's QR code. Messages are transactional and scan-driven. The program does not send marketing or promotional content, and it does not send emergency or public-safety alerts of any kind.
3. Opt-in
Contacts opt in through a double-opt-in confirmation. When an account holder adds a mobile number as a contact within the Jcscan2connect app, that number receives one confirmation SMS and must reply YES to receive future messages. An account holder cannot consent on another person's behalf. If the contact does not reply within 24 hours, the number is deleted and no further messages are sent.
Contacts can also text START, YES, or

after previously opting out.

4. Message frequency
Message frequency is scan-driven, typically 0–2 messages per month per contact. Actual frequency depends on how often the account holder's QR code is physically scanned.
5. Message and data rates
Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier's standard messaging rates apply to messages sent to and from Jcscan2connect Scan Alerts. Check with your carrier for details.
6. Opt-out (STOP)
You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT to any message from Jcscan2connect. You will receive one final confirmation SMS acknowledging the opt-out and will not receive any further messages unless you opt back in.
7. Help (HELP)

8. Rejoin
After opting out, you can rejoin the program by replying START, YES, or UNSTOP to the same number you were messaging with.
9. Carrier liability
Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Jcscan2connect is not responsible for messages delayed or undelivered due to factors outside its control, including but not limited to your carrier network, device, geographic location, or third-party service providers.
10. Supported carriers
Jcscan2connect Scan Alerts is available on major US carriers including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, US Cellular, Boost Mobile, Metro by T-Mobile, and Cricket Wireless. Compatibility with other carriers is not guaranteed.
11. Privacy
Mobile numbers and consent data are used solely to deliver Jcscan2connect Scan Alerts. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Full details in our Privacy Policy.
12. Not an emergency service
Jcscan2connect Scan Alerts is a transactional notification program. It is not an emergency service. We do not send emergency or public-safety alerts, and we do not contact police, fire, ambulance, or any other agency. In an emergency, call 911.
